This just in…..from my friends over at Lifehacker…..a new firefox strapon that allows me to display all my Google apps in my gmail page. Thus eliminating 4 tabs from my lineup =D

Haven’t updated in a while…I know…..but who follows this thing anyways? Noone….

It’s a Saturday evening, didn’t really do any studing at all today…which is a VERY bad thing since I did horrible on most all of my midterms….*sigh*

Instead today I did the following:

• Upgraded the fileserver kernel, which failed miserably so I reverted back
• Found some old pictures on a dusty SD card and uploaded them to my gallery, which now contains 3,198 items! w00t
• Worked on SCO2.0 a little bit…I have to rewrite that bad boy pretty much from the ground up, but oh well…the first time around was a HUGE learning experience….cakephp FTW!

Yeah, nothing overly exciting….and definately nothing pertaining to school *sigh* I’ll get to that….soon….

Works on 2 postulates: Knowledge is Power; Time is Money
Power = Work/Time
Knowledge is Power, therefore Knowledge = Work/Time
Time is Money, therefore Knowledge = Work/Money

Well being the cunning engineer that I am, I decided to put my own spin on the idea…

It feels pretty solid, I’ve jiggled it around, pulled it down, and swayed it back and forth…I’m happy with the result…..couple that with a little bit of Synergy action and we have ourselves a winner!

So i’ve been prowling the blogs I follow and just google in general in search for a group collaboration app. During my search I evalated a great deal of products. During my evaluation I noticed a reocurring thought, “Wow….this app is really good….these developers have a lot of talent!” That seems to be the case for a lot of nifty web 2.0 apps. I was really happy to learn about some new 2.0 apps and how they work. There are a multitude of different ideas and methods of thinking. Upon my search I settled upon No Kahuna for a workgroup collaboration tool.

While looking for a support button I stumbed accross their version of a support application, GetSatisfaction. This app was a completely different spin on support than I’m used to, but frankly the idea is pretty darn good.

Some other apps I previewed were:

• PlanZone
• Backpack
• UserVoice

Well I think that’s all for now, just wanted to post my findings. Hopefully these tools can help others.
